Another day, another safari. This time to Bundala which is famous for its bird life. I swear I’m becoming a twitcher!
We did see lots of birds which was nice and another few crocodiles. It was lacking in the mammal department aside from some monkeys and mongooses (mongeese?). Still I had a fun time.
On the way back a group of locals flagged us down in the town. They were very excited. A crocodile was in the town. They were taking pictures and standing far too close for my liking but that’s Sri Lankan fearlessness for you!
Off to Udawalawe now so I’ll do a new post this evening!
