Day 9

A dull day 

Not much to report today. Travelled to the hotel near the bottom of Kilimanjaro. Got here and there is very limited wifi. 

Went for a walk to the local waterfalls. Got shown a chameleon and got to hold it but I got bloody scammed for money off the guy who showed it to me. Asking me to help him with his schooling. I gave him 10,000 shillings (about £3.50) and he gave me a bracelet. 

It’s meeting time now and kit inspection

A bunch of wedding cars drove by with loud brass band music blaring out of them. 

Seeing as nothing happened today I should mention my fellow travellers from the Serengeti.
