Day 8

Wake me up before you Ngorongoro

We had a very early rise this morning and an early pick up by the 4x4s. We drove down into the crater. Saw a caracal cat which had beautiful eyes. 

We saw a huge bunch of lions that were frightened of buffalo and were hiding in the trees and snarling at them. One of the lions walked amongst the cars and then they looked like they were making a formation to kill but they moved too far away to see. We saw a few other things and another unsuccessful lion chase. We saw flamingoes but they were a bit too far away for the shot that I wanted. 

We had lunch by the lake and I chatted to Danielle. I like her the best. I hope I’m like her when I’m older. She’s cool. 

We slowly made our way out of the crater and back to the truck. 

We met the truck and went to a couple of tatt shops. I upgraded again, obvs. Had another bottle of wine and a couple of drinks in the bar
