So, that’s not a new, appropriating, reggae band coming from Birmingham. It is, in fact, a new challenge for me, because I am forty this year. And that’s terrifying. I’ve had some physical difficulties this year due to various health problems. And so the traveling that I love to do has been put on the back burner. Although, I wanted to do a couple of little trips, so I thought that I would try to get forty countries ticked off my list before I’m forty. It’s my birthday in November and I’m on thirty seven so this is going to be the goal. The real challenge is. I have no money to do it!
I really wanted to go to Copenhagen recently, and I obviously started doing the extreme day trip type stuff. Copenhagen is apparently really good for doing extreme day trips because it’s a very short flight, cheap, and an easily walkable city, according to the people in the extreme day trip Facebook groups. So that one should be . thirty eight done and dusted.
In October, Adam has been invited to his friend’s wedding, and so I’m gonna go along with him. It’s in Budapest, which is in Hungary, and the only hungry I’ve ever had any experience with is hungry for cake. So that’s number thirty nine.
And for the grand finale, I want to have a Bangkok birthday. So on the sixth of November. That’s number forty. I would love to have a wild alcohol fueled ping pong ladyboy experience and then chill on one of the more beautiful picturesque islands for a week recovering. Just up my street. Now financially that is going to be demanding, as flights are going to be about eight hundred pounds per person. And then, obviously, it’s everything else when you get there.
This is where things get tricky. I’m currently trying my best to get some money. Every time I do, things happen, and my savings just go again. And the other slight hitch is the fact that my passport runs out in March. And to be in most places, you need at least six months, sometimes longer on the passport left. So I need to renew my passport, which usually takes about three weeks, but it also costs money. So the money essentially going towards the trips I need to spend to actually get my passport. So, if anybody’s got any ideas about making money or how I can pay for flights in installments because I am much better at paying off things that have already been booked than I am saving money. I tend to struggle with saving money a lot. I love to spend money, and if it’s there, I will spend it. So if anybody has any idea of how to pay for flights in advance and then pay off, which is not a credit card or a loan because I’m not allowed them 😅, then let me know. Or please donate to my GoFundMe at…
just kidding.
