Confession 

Well hello there. How have we been? It’s certainly been a while. Where have I been? Well I’ve still been here but I’ve been busy with PhD and work related business. I’ve also been working with my new personal trainer and so haven’t felt the need for extra motivation recently. Until now. 

So what’s happened? Well after my last blog post where I lost a bunch of weight it all went to pot. I ended up looking like this before Christmas….


But then it all went wrong. I piled the weight back on. Why? Not because of lack of training. No, I’ve been smashing out numbers daily. Because I’ve been secret eating. Eating a bunch of crap and not telling anyone, including Tom (sorry). I can easily put away a few bars of chocolate in one sitting and so of course I’ve put weight on. It would be weird if I hadn’t. I’m climbing Kilimanjaro in 2 weeks and I had got the goal of 180lb or the lightest I’ve ever been but this is not to be. 

So why am I telling you this?  Well it’s mostly to regain some of that motivation. Admission is the first step, right? 

But also to let you know that everybody has ups and downs and it’s normal. I’ve also suffered from self esteem and mental health problems recently and consequently have ended up having Botox and my lips done with an arrangement for a clear, Invisalign brace to sort my teeth out. Maybe I’m having a mid life crisis. That’s why I’ve been posting so much on Facebook and instagram. The likes reboost my low confidence. Anyway, it’s notmal to feel low and not perform your best at times but know there are people out there to support you like I hope you’ll all support me!

This appears to be the last post I wrote for the Chelle Gets Fit series. I tried to take some accountability and it just got worse and worse. There were several reasons but one was that my health was rapidly declining. I will write a new post about this as I think it’s important and it’s an important part of me. I’ll update with a link when I have one.
