Kenya believe I’m back
Well today didn’t start well. I got to the airport and nobody was there to pick me up. After a few phone calls someone arrived, left me in their car and said they would be back in 15 minutes.
It’s now been almost two hours.
He finally came back and drove me to the office of Big Time Safaris. I paid up and then boarded the bus, which was tiny! Nothing like Joy.
First stop was the Rift Valley again which I’d already seen. I bought some Sprite and the vendor said I looked good. Score! We then tootled along getting an African Massage all the way to the National Park.
We got to the camp and were assigned our tents. I had to share with a girl who looked deeply unhappy to be on the safari let alone sharing.
We went on our first game drive and we saw a lot. A couple of cheetahs , a few lions, some elephants, loads of giraffes and zebra. Up close too. Here, have some pics.
Had dinner and went straight to bed. Tried to stay awake to text Matt but just couldn’t.
