Day 18

Feeling the endolphins

Woke up at 5.15am for 6am pick up. Got picked up and then went for Kaileigh. Drove for an hour and a half and then got to the beach where we met Marco Polo and his boat. 

We rode out onto the waves looking for dolphins and it wasn’t long before we spotted them. We jumped in the water quickly and I took a few pics. It was magical. We jumped back in the boat and went chasing again. We did this for about an hour and saw the dolphins many times. 

We headed back and got back in the car. On the way the driver fudged his permit by changing the date on it using a lighter. Don’t know how. He also asked about whether I was married. Kaileigh didn’t get such a question. Oh dear. 

Went to The Rock restaurant. We were an hour and a half early so we sat on the terrace and chilled. 



The food was awesome. Definitely worth a visit. We then headed back to Nungwi. I had a sleep and then went to meet Kaileigh for our last dinner together as she is flying home tomorrow. 

Today has been a good day.
