Squat challenge: the beginning

I’ve decided as one of my goals, I’ll do a monthly challenge. For the next 30 days I’ll do a squat challenge. For funsies and a bit of an experiment. I’ve measured my butt and taken some rather classy pictures. I’ll do the same after the 30 days. I don’t know what will happen. It might get bigger or it might get smaller because of fat loss which is ongoing. Either way I hope the shape improves.

How it will work is that I’ll just add these on to the end of my work out. If my regular work out that day involves squats I’ll still do the ones I’ve planned as well.

Now there are many squat challenges out there but I thought I’d write my own based on my own abilitie as most are just body weight squats and that does nothing for me.

If you think you’re up for the challenge why not join me? Send me your pics and measurements then update me later!

Let’s do this!

Beginning measurement: 45 inches around widest part of bottom.

Monthly challenge time: 30-day squat challenge. Measured butt (45 inches), took classy photos, will compare after. Might get bigger, might get smaller (fat loss ongoing), hopefully better shape.

The Plan: Add challenge squats to end of regular workouts. Most challenges are bodyweight only = does nothing for me. Wrote my own based on actual ability.

Worth Knowing: From The Gym Era (2016). Don’t remember the results but the principle stands – progressive overload beats bodyweight reps forever.
