Run day, bloody run day

I’m sure this running malarkey should be getting easier rather than harder. Some days I can run like the wind and some it’s like one of those nightmares where your legs won’t move when you’re trying to run away from something. Except it’s real! 

Today I did 5k and ok it’s getting a little bit quicker but also a bit harder. Even if I follow my own tips! I wonder if it’s my new shoes, or the fact I did some climbing training a couple of days ago. I honestly don’t know but at least I survived it despite a little bit of anxiety in the last 0.5k which made my breathing worse! 

I shall keep going though.

The Reality: Running should get easier. Sometimes doesn’t. Some days run like the wind, some days legs won’t move – nightmare running except it’s real.

The Variables: Did 5K, bit quicker but harder. New shoes? Climbing training two days before? Anxiety in last 0.5K making breathing worse? Who knows.

Worth Knowing: Not every run is good. Keep going anyway.
