Booooooobs

How could I forget? When I was writing about my hang ups yesterday I forgot about my hang downs.

Note the size of left compared to right.

Seriously, they look like udders. Anyone who says they like big natural boobs is crazy in my books. They don’t look nice at all and they certainly aren’t comfortable. Try running with some wheat bags down your top and you might have an understanding.

They don’t dress well. My body is one size and my chesters about 3 sizes bigger. Not only that one is miles bigger than the other. I’m not exaggerating. In a race my left breast would cross the finish line seconds before my right. And it’s obvious. Particularly in swim gear or from the side. It’s a nightmare to buy underwear because I can never match up. I’m either squidging out of one cup or not touching the sides of the other. My friend, Cliff, once made me a home made bra birthday present which was two socks sewn to an elasticated, boxer brief waistband. I mean it was not fit for purpose but it was very sweet of him to try.

Weirdly enough on this journey they don’t seem to have gotten much smaller either. I mean they have but not in proportion with the rest of me. Every time I’ve lost weight before they’ve dramatically reduced. I guess I can only keep trying.

🧳 UNPACKED

The Hang-Ups Continued: Forgot to mention my hang-downs in yesterday’s post. Big natural boobs sound great in theory – in reality, they’re uncomfortable, don’t dress well, and look like udders. Anyone who disagrees hasn’t tried running with wheat bags down their top.

The Asymmetry Problem: “Significantly left heavy” is putting it mildly. In a race, my left breast would cross the finish line seconds before my right. It’s obvious – particularly in swimwear or from the side. Buying underwear is a nightmare: either squidging out of one cup or not touching the sides of the other.

The Size Mismatch: My body is one size, my chest is three sizes bigger. Makes dressing properly nearly impossible.

The Sweet Gesture: My mate Cliff once made me a homemade bra as a birthday present – two socks sewn to an elasticated boxer brief waistband. Not fit for purpose, but incredibly sweet.

The Weight Loss Reality: Usually when I’ve lost weight, my boobs dramatically reduced. This time? They’ve shrunk, but not in proportion to the rest of me. Just keeping trying, I suppose.

Finding Bras That Actually Work:

  • 📦 Pack here: Shock Absorber sports bras (for exercise)

Worth Knowing: Asymmetrical breasts are incredibly common – most women have one larger than the other. If it’s significant enough to affect bra fitting, consider getting professionally fitted or buying bra inserts to even things out.

  1. Well, color me crazy. And I don’t see a size difference. Maybe it’s the stripes? I think that everything look proportional, and that’s good.

      1. Honestly, I can’t see a difference! I think that it’s an illusion. In the frame, more of your arm is on one side and that distorts perspective a bit. I wouldn’t worry about them in the least. 🙂

      2. lol! Although I consider myself a boob aficionado, this particular post wasn’t to coerce you into more photos. Although I will gladly offer my opinions on future boob pics on your blog. 😀 I’m on Atkins/Low Carb/Keto, trying to drop 20 by July. Finding blogs like yours is motivational to me, although I know that you don’t invite that type of comment. I hope that you don’t mind that I’ll be dropping in to check on your progress.

      3. I’d love you to drop by. Like I say I’m no professional and this is just my journey but I’m a helpful kind of gal so knowing I’m being motivational feels good. Good luck on your own journey!

      4. Thank you, I appreciate it. I’ll be sure to read and borrow your ideas that you’re having success with. BTW, I have two blogs right now, one is called friendswithoutborders. It’s a blog that all of the followers who wish to write are granted editor rights and can post at will. That blog is here:

Then, my blog is just my own blog without a viewpoint. Just random posts about anything, but a lot of it is about music, some of which I’ve written and recorded. That blog is here:
